USA 2011 - Teaching Excellence and Achievement
The Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA) is financed by the US Department of State and provides outstanding secondary school teachers from all over the world with a six-week professional development program. All the participants gather in Washington DC. One of the four groups travel to Nevada, Reno and do their course at the University and schools there. The program includes an internship at a secondary school and every teacher has their American partner teacher. The program also consists of trips to cultural sites, visits to typical events, celebrations and home visits.
